Dear Chris, I am in shock learning about Kim's passing! Y'all were a unique couple, rarely seeing one without the other unless it was at work. You truly were best friends. I shall always remember Kim's infectious laugh and her optimism. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Sincerely, Rachel and Johnny

Kim and I met 8 years ago preparing for the Senior Beach Retreat. Kim was a very sweet and kind lady. She so cherished the seniors and loved working with them. Even when she should have been upset with them she was still kind and sweet. We can all learn from Kim's patience and attitude. Kim was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back and the scissors from her crafty and creative hands. Kim will be missed, but our loss is Heaven's gain. I will continue to pray for her family and co-workers during this time. She fought the good fight and now she has won the Victory.

How privileged I was to have Kim touch my life. Loved every minute spent in her presence. Glad I had the opportunity to thank her and tell her how much her work at Horry County Parks and Rec meant to me. Eating turkey dinner at Webster's will always be one of my best memories. Even you, Chris, got dragged into the events that Kim planned. You, too, are a real trooper. Hoping for peace and wonderful memories to all the family.

Miss Kim what can I say. I haven't seen you in 5 years. I thought about you often. Your kindness, your knowledge you shared shop freely, your smile. Working with you is one of the reasons I stayed at Parks and Rec. You lived everyday to the fullest. You taught me so much. You were veryinfluential in my life. I love you and miss you. Thank you. I am so sorry for loss your family is suffering.

We will always remember the interesting Book Club discussions over the years! And some of those titles and choices!! And the Quilt Guild! When she approached me about starting a group with her in Conway...and how we were pleased how the group grew from the original "9" to over 50, today!! How we all enjoyed getting Kim set up with her new machine, then listening to her sew on low speed for months before having the courage to bump it up a notch! her pride in completing her first sampler project and showing it! Finding her love of making string quilt blocks! Like another Quilter said earlier this week, the good lord must have needed a Quilter in heaven! Rest In Peace, our dear Kim, you will be missed so very much!
